The Production Analyst is responsible for analyzing and maintaining daily and monthly production reports. This role will be required to file monthly regulatory forms for oil, gas, and fresh /saltwater systems and will need to communicate daily with third-party representatives to ensure the accuracy of volumetric data. In addition, the Production Analyst will need to consistently look for ways to develop process improvements.

Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to managers and engineers in all stages of development, analysis and presentation of data using knowledge of spreadsheets, databases, and other software
- Generate high-quality reports and presentations for departmental and upper management use
- Perform trend analysis
- Create queries in various software and generate reports as needed
- Import/maintain production data (oil/gas/water)
- Provide production data and reports in conjunction with company policies and procedures
- Responsible for loading, verifying, manipulating, analyzing, and reporting data into various databases and software applications
- Prepare and analyze monthly gas and oil data from reporting services to provide accurate data to other Business Units and regulatory agencies
- Review daily new wells data and production to assist field offices in maintaining the accuracy of delivery systems and allocation
- Generate reports and provide information to internal clients and regulatory agencies as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in quantitative subjects such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Accounting or Finance
- Three (3+) years of industry experience as a Production Analyst
- Three (3+) years of advanced Excel experience, creating and configuring VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Sum IF formulas and charts
- Ability to perform data mining across multiple platforms
- Minimum One (1+) year of experience using ProCount, Carte, eVIn, Spotfire, and SAP
- Experience within the oil and gas industry
- Knowledge of field flows
