The Casey Auto Group has an immediate opening for a Payroll Administrator.
The person in this position will work from our corporate office in the Oyster Point Industrial Park in Newport News. The Casey Auto Group has seven car dealerships in Newport News and Williamsburg, a call center, a lending center, and an Allstate Insurance division. We have approximately 600 employees in Hampton Roads.
As the Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all of our locations. This includes the input of payroll data, such as hours worked, bonuses, and commissions from records supplied by each dealership.
A Sample of Additional Responsibilities:
Processing record changes such as exemptions, child support, garnishments, tax liens, and loan payments
Maintaining vacation records
Preparing journal entries for items such as SUTA, 401K, and HSA
Balancing and paying payroll taxes withheld to the general ledger
Processing W-2’s
Preparing quarterly tax reports
Processing direct deposits for multiple payroll cycles and types (weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly)
Maintaining the company pay-card program
Conducting periodic payroll and compensation audits
Qualifications Wish List:

A positive attitude!
5 years of experience with processing high-volume payroll
Experience with processing payroll for multiple locations
Experience in the automotive industry
Experience with Reynolds and Reynolds software
General accounting experience
Confidentiality
