Position Summary
The Junior Quality and Compliance Analyst supports Liberation Programs’ quality and compliance operations by assisting with chart audits, managing DDAP data systems, processing EHR troubleshooting tickets, and supporting regulatory readiness activities. This entry-level position plays a key role in ensuring timely and accurate data entry, reporting, and maintenance of compliance documentation, working under the direct supervision of the Senior Quality and Compliance Analyst.

Our goal is to help individuals and families overcome addiction in order to restore their lives and ultimately strengthen our communities. Liberation provides services for youth, adults and families that include two inpatient treatment programs, outpatient and intensive outpatient services, health education for older adults and people living with HIV/AIDS and other chronic illnesses, treatment and resources for adolescents and their families, education and prevention efforts in the community, and permanent supportive housing for families. In operation since 1971, the agency has sites in Greenwich, Stamford, Norwalk and Bridgeport and served more than 2,400 individuals in our last fiscal year.

This entry-level position plays a key role in ensuring timely and accurate data entry, reporting, and maintenance of compliance documentation, working under the direct supervision of the Senior Quality and Compliance Analyst.
Responsibilities
Quality Assurance & Compliance Monitoring
- Conduct routine chart audits across programs using agency-provided tools.
- Assist with monitoring documentation compliance and flagging issues for follow-up.
- Help maintain agency documentation standards through regular review and tracking.
- Organize and maintain medical records in alignment with internal policy and regulatory guidelines.
- Enter, update, and maintain all client service, admission, discharge, and encounter data in the DDAP system.
- Perform quality checks on DDAP entries and correct errors to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Track and reconcile data discrepancies across systems and work with program staff to resolve them.
- Generate monthly and annual DDAP reports under the guidance of the Senior Analyst.
- Ensure compliance with all DDAP reporting timelines and data integrity standards.
- Support data clean-up projects and historical corrections as needed.
- Submit and monitor EHR troubleshooting tickets in coordination with the Quality team.
- Track ticket status and escalate unresolved issues to the Senior Analyst
- Assist in minor troubleshooting and user support under direction.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of EHR user profiles, permissions, and group assignments.
- Support onboarding tasks related to compliance and system access for new hires.
- Prepare and update spreadsheets, tracking logs, and internal forms for documentation oversight.
- Assist with compiling audit materials and supporting documentation for external reviews (e.g., CARF, DPH, DMHAS).
- Organize compliance binders, checklists, and readiness tools to support site preparedness.
- Provide administrative support to the Quality team, including scheduling, scanning, and filing.
- Associate degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Prior experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or administrative support preferred.
- Familiarity with EHR systems (e.g., Netsmart) a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Ability to manage deadlines, multitask, and work independently with guidance.
