- Respond promptly and professionally to all incoming internet leads (email, chat, website inquiries, social media messages, etc.).
- Proactively follow up with potential customers through various digital channels to nurture leads and answer questions.
- Qualify customer needs and preferences to recommend appropriate products or services.
- Provide detailed product/service information, pricing, and availability.
- Utilize CRM software to track and manage leads, customer interactions, and sales pipeline.
- Schedule appointments (if applicable, e.g., for test drives, product demonstrations).
- Negotiate pricing and terms to close sales in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with other sales team members, finance, and service departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, industry trends, and digital sales best practices.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service throughout the entire sales process.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling products/services.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts.
- Proven experience in internet sales, inside sales, or a similar customer-facing role (1-3 years experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of digital communication tools and platforms (CRM, chat software, social media).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional active listening skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with customers.
- Highly organized with strong time management and multi-tasking abilities.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in using standard office software (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
- Comfortable with technology and quick to learn new systems.
- Prior experience with CRM software is a plus.
- Knowledge of the automotive industry is a strong advantage.
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college or a Bachelor's degree preferred.
