Join Our Team as a Human Resource Specialist - This will cover an area in and around Tyler/Longview/Jacksonville areas.
Support and Empower Teams in Long-Term Care
Your Impact as a Human Resource Specialist
In this role, you will:
Accurately enter and update employee information, including new hires, pay rate changes, and terminations.
Review applications and resumes, assess applicant qualifications, and make recommendations to hiring managers.
Advise supervisors, managers, and employees on HR policies and procedures.
Respond to personnel and payroll-related inquiries and ensure alignment with company practices.
Coordinate with departments and act as a liaison to promote clear and professional communication.
Provide guidance on employment issues such as promotions, demotions, transfers, and more.
Organize and support employee engagement and recognition events in accordance with company guidelines.
Maintain and audit personnel files and risk management programs to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Assist in composing confidential correspondence, compiling reports, and preparing data for leadership.
Interpret and apply company policies as well as state and federal employment laws.
Keep all employee records well-organized and up-to-date.
What Makes You a Great Fit
We’re seeking someone who:
Has at least 2 years of Human Resources and/or Payroll experience.
Demonstrates excellent organizational skills and can prioritize tasks effectively.
Communicates professionally in both verbal and written formats.
Maintains confidentiality and accuracy in recordkeeping.
Is familiar with labor laws and HR best practices.
Can comply with the company’s and departmental safety and conduct policies.
