We are seeking a highly motivated Project Coordinator with 2-3+ years of experience in the commercial construction industry to join our team. As a key support role within our project management team, the Project Coordinator will assist in the coordination, administration, and documentation of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Project Managers with the daily coordination of construction projects, including scheduling, subcontractor communication, and documentation.

  • Draft, review, and manage construction contracts, purchase orders, and change orders.

  • Maintain organized project records, including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and progress documentation.

  • Track project timelines, deliverables, and budgets in collaboration with the PM team.

  • Support in bidding and procurement processes, including solicitation and review of subcontractor quotes.

  • Coordinate with field teams, clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely project execution.

  • Ensure all required documentation is obtained for project closeout, including warranties, O&Ms, and final lien waivers.

  • Participate in project meetings and take clear, actionable meeting minutes.

  • Monitor compliance with company procedures, project requirements, and safety protocols.

Profile

Qualifications:

  • 2-3+ years of experience in a project coordination or support role within the commercial construction industry.

  • Working knowledge of construction contracts and the ability to draft and interpret contract language.

  • Experience working for a general contractor preferred.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software a plus.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred, but not required.
