Job Overview

Hillman Outdoor Living LLC is hiring a motivated and experienced Crew Lead to oversee day-to-day operations on high-end residential landscaping and hardscaping projects. As a key player in the field operations team, you'll lead and work alongside your crew to ensure each project is delivered with precision, quality, and safety. This role requires hands-on leadership, the ability to operate heavy equipment, and a passion for building exceptional outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and participate in the day-to-day tasks of a landscape/hardscape crew
  • Ensure all project phases are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards
  • Operate various heavy equipment as needed on-site
  • Maintain jobsite cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety protocols
  • Follow and enforce project deadlines and site plans
  • Assist with project layout, material handling, and installation
  • Communicate clearly with team members, subcontractors, and supervisors
  • Address on-site issues quickly and professionally
  • Uphold the company's core values and promote teamwork

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in residential landscaping or hardscaping
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
  • Able to operate heavy equipment (skid steers, mini-excavators, etc.)
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality craftsmanship
  • Results-driven with excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Enjoys leading teams and fostering a positive work environment
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Schedule

Full-time, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays required as needed
