Description

As the Production Shift Supervisor, you will oversee all shift operations including production, post-production, quality control, and shipping. You will also ensure consistent communication with departmental shift leads and staff throughout the shift.

What You’ll Do

  • Prioritize and organize daily production, provide guidance to staff, and address bottlenecks by redistributing labor to ensure timelines are met and orders are completed on time.
  • Ensure all departments produce and ship parts that meet company quality guidelines while maintaining an organized, efficient, and safe operation.
  • Support training, coaching, and development of staff members.
  • Maintain smooth shift transitions by conducting regular shift huddles to ensure clear and consistent communication with staff.
  • Communicate with Customer Support and Preflight teams regarding problematic orders and offer solutions to resolve issues.
  • Perform end of shift duties as directed by the Operations Director.
  • Complete any additional tasks as set forth by the Operations Director.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of proven experience within a supervisory role
  • Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to prioritize and execute
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and deal with complex issues in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to handle personnel issue and handle corrective action when necessary
