Summary:
The Assembly Manager oversees all operations and personnel in the assembly department. The role works collaboratively with all personnel and departments to ensure that the Company’s strategic goals are met.

Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for achieving production goals and meeting production requirements that are set by management
- Evaluates companywide production issues and implements short-term and long-term solutions
- Manages day-to-day operational systems and processes for the department; evaluates key metrics and works to improve efficiency, optimization and compliance with applicable procedures and pertinent environmental and safety regulations
- Leads the business unit area; responsibilities include cross functional training and development of employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving issues
- Performs daily tasks as needed to meet production goals and deadlines
- Assists with quality, safety, and customer audits; implements necessary action items in response to audit findings
- Perform other duties as needed
- Proactive, adaptable and self-disciplined
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership position
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a production (assembly) environment
- Technical knowledge of rigid, flex and rigid-flex printed circuits and assemblies
- Superior attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective problem-solver
- Working knowledge of business management software (e.g., SAP, ERP, CRM)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
- Experience with ProCIM
