Purpose

The Creative Director is responsible for shaping and execute the visual identity of our brand across every touchpoint. This is a hands-on leadership role for a design-driven creative who thrives on rolling up their sleeves to do the work—while setting a clear, cohesive visual standard for the company.

As our lead visual storyteller, this role is responsible for everything from brand guidelines to creative assets. This role will lead creative strategy while also designing keynote slides, building campaign visuals, and bringing our brand experience to life through standout event experiences and will collaborate closely with the VP of Marketing to ensure every piece of creative feels sharp, consistent, and aligned with our brand’s purpose.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the development, evolution, and execution of our visual identity across all formats.
  • Designs high-quality creative assets for marketing campaigns, events, sales enablement, website, and social media.
  • Creates and maintains design templates and brand guidelines to ensure consistency.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with marketing, sales, operations, program management and leadership to meet brand and business needs.
  • Translates business strategy and messaging into compelling visual concepts.
  • Guides video production, animation, and photography efforts, including vendor or freelancer oversight.
  • Manages timelines and prioritize design work in a fast-moving environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, Marketing, Visual Communication, or a related creative field; equivalent education, training, and relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of design experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating brand systems, digital design, and visual storytelling
  • Deep expertise in design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.) and visual layout best practices
  • Ability to bring designs to life in the Microsoft suite of tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) for business audiences
  • Strong attention to detail, composition, typography, and color
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to give and receive feedback
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with independent judgment, initiative, and strong time management.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to clearly present creative concepts and design rationale to stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with basic video editing, motion design, storyboarding, or directing creative production.
  • B2B or healthcare industry experience.

Work Environment

This position works in a professional home or office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This role requires occasional travel (<10%), such as to photo/video shoots and industry events.

The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Visual acuity is necessary for tasks such as reading and working with various forms of data on a screen.
