Position Summary

Join the University of Dayton, a premier Catholic research university where innovation meets tradition in beautiful Dayton, Ohio. We're seeking a dynamic Undergraduate Curriculum Coordinator to shape the academic journey of our diverse student body within our Academic Affairs & Learning Initiatives division.

The position requires self-direction, the ability to make independent decisions, and work in a team environment. This position requires working with the Assistant Provost for Undergraduate Curriculum and the Administrator for Undergraduate Curriculum to coordinate the implementation of the undergraduate curriculum and the Common Academic Program. Coordinate and track new and existing CAP courses and manage undergraduate curriculum record keeping processes. Provide administrative support to the Assistant Provost and other undergraduate curriculum units as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent with at least 30 hours of college coursework
  • Two years of work experience in student services or administrative setting
  • Intermediate proficiency with the Microsoft Office and Google Suite of products, basic proficiency using electronic email and calendars, and cloud based office software
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Experience maintaining confidentiality and exhibiting good judgment of work related matters

Preferred Qualifications

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

  • Associate's degree or higher
  • Five years of experience in student services or administrative setting
  • Experience with event planning
  • Previous experience in the use of educational technology such as degree audit, curriculum management, learning management platforms, and Tableau.
  • Demonstrated experience working with people from other cultures and intercultural sensitivity
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask when coordinating activities involving high levels of complexity and determine and meet deadlines with minimal to no supervision
  • Demonstrated experience communicating effectively, developing and maintaining relationships with persons at all levels within and external to the university
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and experience in determining and implementing efficient procedures
  • Possess a genuine customer-service attitude towards constituents
  • Knowledge of and sensitivity to a Catholic Marianist work environment
  • Experience working in a higher education setting
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed
