As an Outside Sales Account Manager, you’ll play a key role in expanding our footprint in the Transport Refrigeration Unit (TRU) industry — managing service and equipment sales across your assigned territory and strengthening relationships with both existing and new customers.
What You’ll Do
We’re looking for a driven, strategic, and service-minded sales professional who can:
- Own your territory like a business, including providing input on annual sales forecasts
- Help customers reduce cost per hour by offering knowledgeable equipment advice
- Measure undercarriages and get hands-on with customer equipment when needed
- Partner with Parts & Service Managers to create marketing initiatives and shared goals
- Safely operate company vehicles in accordance with all road and weather conditions
- Support marketing and sales plans related to HVAC, trailer, and reefer equipment
- Identify and research new business opportunities and build strategic plans to secure wins
- Maintain consistent reporting, progress tracking, and goal alignment
- Collaborate with internal teams to fuel innovation and improve execution
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, who is:
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales preferred
- Valid Class C CDL driver’s license, with a clean driving record
- Familiar with transport refrigeration, trailers, or heavy equipment industries
- A natural communicator — able to build rapport through cold calls and door-to-door sales
- Self-motivated and organized with strong territory management skills
- Comfortable using CRM systems and digital sales tools
- Open to new ideas and continuous improvement
- A true team player with a customer-first mindset
