Located in the heart of Santa Monica, Haus of Portraiture is a luxury portrait studio specializing in museum-quality family heirloom photography. For over a decade, we've been capturing legacy moments with intention, elegance, and heart and now we're expanding our outreach with an on-the-ground business development expert to help introduce our brand to aligned partners and premium clientele.

The Role

We're looking for a confident, self-motivated Business Development Representative to be our brand's boots-on-the-ground connection in the Los Angeles area. You'll be responsible for identifying, approaching, and building relationships with high-end local businesses and organizations that align with our clientele such as car dealerships, plastic surgeons, med spas, private schools, interior designers, luxury real estate offices, and country clubs.

This role is ideal for someone who loves face-to-face interaction, understands luxury clientele, and isn't afraid of cold calls, cold drop-ins, and building relationships from scratch.

What You'll Do

  • Identify and research local businesses that align with our ideal client demographic
  • Make warm introductions and cold visits to local businesses to present partnership opportunities
  • Direct outreach to prospective partnerships
  • Drop off marketing materials, initiate referral relationships, and follow up consistently
  • Coordinate and secure in-person meetings with decision-makers
  • Create and manage a local contact list of VIP businesses and leads
  • Report weekly on outreach activities, leads generated, and potential partnerships
  • Represent the Haus of Portraiture brand with professionalism and warmth

What We're Looking For

  • A polished and professional appearance with excellent verbal communication skills
  • Experience or comfort with cold calling and in-person prospecting
  • An understanding of (or interest in) the luxury/lifestyle market
  • Strong local knowledge of high-end businesses and communities in the greater LA area
  • Organized, self-driven, and able to work independently
  • Bonus if you have experience in event sponsorships, luxury service sales, or B2B relationship marketing
