Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

This position works directly with the PharmaLink IT department to support their hardware and software infrastructure. The individual will be required to perform all necessary troubleshooting to alleviate any tech support issues that arise in the company. They will also be responsible for hardware inventory and doing small tasks in SQL Management Studio.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting technical support issues as they arise.
  • Working with individuals to diagnose and repair faults.
  • Ability to handle remote troubleshooting
  • Maintaining an accurate inventory of hardware components.
  • Place orders for hardware and printer toner.
  • Setup new and deactivate old employees.
  • Setup, maintain, and repair IT Hardware, PC’s, and laptops.
  • Setup, deactivate and maintain badges in PharmaLinks badge access system.

Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree / certification in computer science or information technology.
  • Experience in a technical support environment.
  • Must have 2 years’ experience in MS Office software.
  • Must be dependable, reliable, detail oriented and able to follow directions
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to function, with a positive attitude, in a high-performance work team environment
  • Must have clean background and pass drug screen
  • HS diploma or equivalent

Desired Knowledge/Skills

  • Knowledge of SQL Server
  • Experience with WIFI Scanners and devices
  • Knowledge of VB.NET or other programming languages
