We are looking for passionate, caring, and dedicated counselors and social workers to provide office-based and telehealth services to our clients.

The Crisis Recovery Center will transform crisis care by providing 24/7 walk-in behavioral health services meant to immediately identify, triage, address, stabilize and treat persons in mental health crisis and assist those who have substance abuse withdrawal needs.

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • A strong commitment to helping others in times of crisis.
  • Familiarity with mental health conditions and psychotropic medications is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a respectful, client-centered approach.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure, make sound judgments, and work well both independently and collaboratively.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, mobile environment (majority of time spent in the community).
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.Respond to crisis scenes in the community with a licensed clinician as part of a two-person team.
  • Gather collateral information to assist in resolving mental health crises.
  • Support the clinician with client engagement and pre-hospital screenings.
  • Communicate and coordinate care with clients’ primary treatment teams, including psychiatrists, case managers, and counselors.
  • Monitor client behavior and mental status, offering one-on-one support to individuals and families.
  • Answer crisis hotline calls, gather critical information, and provide referrals and resources.
  • Transport clients safely to and from community sites as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including contact sheets, shift reports, and crisis alerts.
  • Participate in team meetings and continuous training, including CPR, First Aid, and Crisis Intervention.
  • Uphold trauma-informed care principles in all interactions with clients and team members.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in a related field and/or experience in mental health or crisis services.
  • Background in trauma-informed or trauma-specific services is a plus.

Pay Range: $54,620.80 - $66,582.45 annual salary

Placement within the pay scale is commensurate with experience and qualifications
