The UX Analyst will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing digital-first experiences across the Optum sales and client lifecycle. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, translate them into business cases, and partner with Technology teams to prioritize and execute. This role is ideal for early-career professionals passionate about technology modernization, user experience, and design thinking.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, and usability testing to inform design decisions
  • Develop business cases to drive prioritization and decision making
  • Build & maintain user personas, journey maps, and experience documentation
  • Work with cross-functional teams including Technology, Sales, Product, etc. to align goals and timelines
  • Draft communications, presentations, and briefing materials for senior leaders and steering committees

Required Qualifications

  • Experience with tools like Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, etc.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional work experience
  • Demonstrated outstanding academic achievement
  • Consulting and/or healthcare experience and/or involvement with clubs
  • Comfortable working in matrixed organizations and cross-functional teams
  • Proven to be adaptable and comfortable in ambiguity and high-impact situations
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $58,800 to $105,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
