Job Overview

All Dry Services of South Suburban Chicago is seeking a skilled and passionate Remediation/Mitigation Technician to join our Field Operations team. This full-time, hands-on role focuses on water, mold, and fire remediation for residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate takes pride in their craftsmanship, demonstrates a strong attention to detail, and thrives in fast-paced, customer-focused environments. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform water, mold, and fire mitigation and restoration services
  • Set up and monitor drying equipment, dehumidifiers, and air scrubbers
  • Execute demolition and debris removal as needed
  • Conduct moisture readings and complete job documentation using mobile software
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients on-site
  • Ensure job site cleanliness and compliance with safety standards
  • Maintain all equipment, tools, and vehicles in excellent working condition
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines and goals are met
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies (as needed)
  • Complete basic rebuild/reconstruction projects

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in restoration or mitigation
  • IICRC Certifications required: WRT (Water Restoration Technician)), FSRT (Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician), AMRT (Applied Microbial Remediation Technician a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in high-quality workmanship
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Comfortable using mobile apps and software for job tracking
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Project Estimation/Experience with Xactimate a plus
