Summary
The Drafting Engineer will support the design and development of enclosure products through the creation of detailed 3D models, engineering drawings, and documentation. This role is essential to enabling efficient production, change management, and OEM integration projects with a focus on quality, manufacturability, and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Build 3D models and detailed drawings; maintain BOMs.
- Execute engineering change management to ensure documentation accuracy.
- Collaborate on DFM improvements and design-to-manufacturing resolutions.
- Support OEM enclosure customizations and design revisions as needed.
- Drafting/design degree or equivalent.
- Approximately 2+ years drafting experience with sheet metal or enclosure design.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent CAD.
- Meticulous attention to detail and documentation best practices.
