Summary

We are hiring a Human Resources Generalist to help lead the daily HR operations. This role focuses on hourly recruiting, employee relations, payroll support, and compliance. It is highly visible and involves working closely with both employees and leadership. You will be the go-to person for HR needs across the hourly workforce.

Responsibilities

  • Manage hourly recruiting, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, and onboarding
  • Work with staffing agencies to order new temps, onboard them, track hours, and distribute paychecks or stubs
  • Support payroll by reviewing timecards, tracking approvals, and resolving any issues
  • Provide support and guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures
  • Help maintain a positive and compliant workplace by addressing employee relations and supporting investigations
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and support ongoing HR programs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date digital employee records
  • Assist with benefits administration and open enrollment
  • Help improve internal processes and support better use of our HRIS (Paylocity experience is a plus)
  • Provide day-to-day guidance and training to the HR Assistant

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 3 or more years of experience in HR within a manufacturing or construction environment
  • Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws
  • Bilingual in Spanish. Must be able to read, write, speak fluently, and translate documents
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
  • Experience mentoring or supporting other HR team members
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms. Familiarity with Paylocity is a plus
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
