Duties and Responsibilities:
- Proactively reaches out to credit union members and assists them with their needs.
- Originates and helps with both consumer and home equity loan products.
- Demonstrates a highly motivated, positive, outgoing, influential personality with a strong emphasis on sales and results orientation to ensure the credit union maximizes lending and sales.
- Consistently demonstrates the ability to think independently, outside the box, by effectively responding to each individual member’s unique situation.
- Commands a thorough knowledge of the lending process from application to closing to ensure maximum funding rates.
- Demonstrates an unsurpassed commitment to exceptional member service and teamwork that ensures a positive member experience with each encounter.
- Is fully knowledgeable of all credit union products and services and is able to confidently offer appropriate solutions to fit member needs.
- Works with others to obtain additional information.
- Ensures all credit union and government standards are being met at all times.

- High school diploma or GED required
- 2-5 years of similar or related experience
- Self-motivated
- Must be sales-oriented
- Ability to think critically and adapt to various situations and solve problems
- Ability to work both independently and as a team
- Ability to adapt to the changing needs of the credit union
- Ability to assess credit worthiness within the credit union guidelines
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must have or be able to get NMLS license
- Be able to work efficiently and meet needed deadlines
- Set and consistently meet production goals
- Demonstrate and maintain good working knowledge of credit union and government standards through additional training
- Maintain a professional, courteous, and friendly atmosphere for members and co-workers
- Microsoft Office Suite
