Survey Field Crew Rodman/Party Chief

Description

Allpoints Surveying is seeking a field-based Rodman/Party Chief to join our team in College Station, TX and the surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and detail-oriented with strong complex problem-solving capabilities. The Party Chief is responsible for surveying and investigating land surfaces to project precise measurements.

Responsibilities

• Collect field data utilizing GPS and a variety of surveying instruments
• Produce field notes and sketches depicting accurate field conditions
• Utilize a variety of technology to collaborate with other departments
• Organize and prioritize tasks on a daily basis as a single person crew
• Operate a motor vehicle in a safe manner and in compliance with all local laws and regulations
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License required
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Exposure to surveying instruments and processing survey data preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions and on varied terrain
• Ability to work in the field for extended periods of time
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High degree of attention to detail
