As a Video Editor, you will serve as the official editor for all things Cardone Ventures, editing mission-based objectives and supporting content creation for digital. To ensure success, you should have expert knowledge of modern video editing techniques, be able to visualize directorial concepts and work according to a strict time schedule. SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Creates winning video assets that depict the brand and story of Cardone Ventures in a way that gets current and potential clients & team members excited to work with us
- Masterfully portrays Brandon and Natalie as business scaling experts through video content
- Work with the Marketing team to determine production vision
- Insert intentional dialog, sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects to enhance the story
- Utilize clips from podcasts to create engaging content for ads and social media
- Leverages AI technologies to enhance workflow
- Assist in using a studio space for live calls and other video content
- Create content that is optimized for social media platforms aligned with company wide campaigns and social media trends
- Create quick, same day turn around content for event promotional use and recaps
- Develop promotional content for digital platforms that are conversion driven (paid traffic)
- Cohesively tell a story through NLE (non-linear editing) using video, graphics, music, and sound design
- Operate computer editing systems and equipment used for video content creation (Adobe Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve)
- Improve video and sound quality using various video software
- Edit video to include preselected music, interviews, sound clips and other important aspects of the project
- Archive footage in a highly organized manner
- Experience producing and editing video content for a variety of digital platforms
- Ability to innovate with outside the box techniques through experimenting with trending/modern techniques – we need highly creative editing wizards
- Full understanding of Adobe Creative Suite - including Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, After Effects (additional programs like Davinci Resolve are a plus)
- Demonstrate the ability to craft story lines to “tell the story” in a captivating form
- Ability to create visually amazing (export liquid gold) content including cutting promos, podcasts, event recaps and live shows
- Advanced knowledge of professional production procedures, practices, project tracking/management, techniques and terminology
- Can keep on top of current video trends, innovations in camera and lighting technology, and effective practices to stay on top of creating effective video that will best connect with our audience
- At least 3 years’ experience in an Editor position
