The Sr. Field Manager – Lawn Maintenance plays a key leadership role in managing day-to-day lawn maintenance operations, with a strong focus on productivity, crew performance, quality standards, and safety compliance. This individual will lead through clear communication, process oversight, and continuous improvement to ensure outstanding service delivery and field execution across all maintenance accounts.
What Success Looks Like
- Oversee, coach, and support the Lawn Maintenance Field Manager and assigned crews, ensuring accountability, productivity, and quality standards across all job sites.
- Monitor daily routing and crew boards for accuracy and efficiency; adjust schedules and resources in real time to meet workload demands.
- Manage crew PTO schedules and maintain adequate coverage without disrupting service delivery.
- Conduct daily reviews of crew timesheets for payroll accuracy, labor utilization, and compliance with internal tracking procedures.
- Perform regular job site visits to evaluate quality, provide coaching, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure crews are adhering to company SOPs, measuring tools, and chemical application protocols.
- Lead the enforcement of safety procedures and policies, including hazard recognition, proper PPE use, and incident reporting.
- Ensure on-time execution of all scheduled maintenance work, with a strong focus on high-priority and VIP accounts.
- Maintain recurring schedules for top-tier clients and ensure proactive communication with stakeholders on site readiness, special requests, or seasonal changes.
- Coordinate with purchasing, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely material availability and adherence to job specifications.

What Sets You Apart
- 4–5 years of direct lawn maintenance or landscape operations experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or field leadership role
- College degree or equivalent field/operational leadership experience preferred
- Strong technical knowledge of turfgrass, shrubs, seasonal color, groundcover, and basic horticultural practices
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and hold field teams accountable in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Experience managing labor budgets, material usage, and chemical application programs
- Intermediate computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, scheduling tools, work order systems)
- Spanish fluency is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites as needed
