Position Overview:
We're seeking a seasoned Senior Account Manager to lead and elevate our Client Management team. In this fully onsite role based in Naperville, IL, you’ll oversee key client relationships and mentor a team of account managers to deliver best-in-class service to healthcare organizations nationwide. This is a leadership role for someone with a passion for sales, client success, strategic thinking, and developing high-performing teams.
As the Senior Account Manager, you’ll serve as the escalation point for critical accounts, drive strategic growth within the client base, and lead initiatives to improve client satisfaction, and operational efficiency. You’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, and Product teams to shape client strategies and ensure seamless service delivery across the board.

As the Senior Account Manager, you’ll serve as the escalation point for critical accounts, drive strategic growth within the client base, and lead initiatives to improve client satisfaction, and operational efficiency. You’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, and Product teams to shape client strategies and ensure seamless service delivery across the board.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Development: Mentor, coach, and manage a team of Client Managers to ensure exceptional service and consistent achievement of performance goals.
- Strategic Client Oversight: Serve as the executive point of contact for high-value accounts, ensuring resolution of escalations and long-term satisfaction.
- Account Growth & Retention: Oversee strategic account planning, renewal cycles, and expansion opportunities across the client portfolio.
- Operational Excellence: Implement best practices in account management processes, communication workflows, and client reporting.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Support) to align goals and improve overall client experience.
- Client Strategy & Insights: Use analytics, client feedback, and compliance trends to recommend strategic improvements and inform product/service development.
- CRM & Data Management: Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of team activity, pipeline development, and client engagement metrics using Salesforce and HubSpot.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas of improvement within the client journey and lead initiatives to enhance retention and satisfaction.
- Experience: 5+ years of leadership experience in account management, customer success, or client-facing leadership roles—preferably in healthcare, compliance, or SaaS.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience managing a team, setting performance goals, and developing high-performing account managers.
- Strategic Acumen: Proven success in developing account growth strategies and improving client lifecycle outcomes.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- CRM Mastery: Proficiency in Salesforce, HubSpot, and related tools to manage client data and reporting.
- Organizational Strength: Ability to manage competing priorities, handle escalations, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Earning Potential: Base salary of $80k - $90k based on experience. On-target earnings (OTE) of $140K+, including leadership bonuses and uncapped team performance incentives.
