Responsibilities
Customer Service
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; three to five years of related experience: or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.
Medium work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10-25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for light work.

Responsibilities
- With store leadership and CO marketing, develop comprehensive event and promotion opportunities to increase store traffic and sales.
- Manage public relations with store associates to ensure they understand the promotion or event to maximize buy-in and participation.
- Seek and recommend to store leadership community engagement opportunities that will enhance the SCHEELS brand. Upon approval, manage the opportunity.
- Serve as the community and customer contact as it relates to donations and sponsorship requests.
- Create and manage an annual calendar and budget.
- Evaluate all public relations endeavors and report to SCHEELS leadership.
- Serve as the store liaison with CO Marketing to manage store media including TV, radio, print, website, social media, pro-staff, events, co-op, vendors, graphic design and training.
- Prepares PR budget and tracks costs to ensure all expenses are within organization’s financial policy.
- Will serve as or will name a store spokesperson to manage the conversations with the media or the community.
- Contribute to a work environment that fosters pride in being part of a winning team and promotes personal growth.
- Other duties as assigned by leadership.
- Ability to work independently and with the team.
- Exercise judgment and tact and be able to effectively work with all levels within the organization.
- Strong oral / written communication and presentation skills to communicate effectively and in a timely manner with all levels of the organization, throughout the community, and with the media.
- Strong organization skills and ability to manage details.
- Leadership and management experience.
- Ability to develop a strong knowledge of Scheels’ policies and culture.
- Be professional in appearance and attitude, contribute to a positive team atmosphere and treat others with respect and consideration.
- Ability to work assigned scheduled which may include varied hours, evening, weekends, and holidays.
- Some travel, including overnight stays.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
