- The Nurse practices independently in a similar clinical setting, providing routine and complex care, and managing long-term goals.
- Responsibilities include assessing patients, diagnosing, planning, implementing, evaluating care, and addressing psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.
- Administers medications, monitors side-effects, documents patient information, and provides education to patients and families.
- Ensures competency through onboarding, annual training, and certifications such as BLS, NRP, and STABLE.
- Preferred experience includes perinatal nursing; certifications and licenses must be maintained within specified grace periods.
- Work schedule varies; full-time night shift from 7 pm to 7 am.
