Seeking a 1099 Collaborating Physician (MD) for remote/field-based work in Alabama.
- Provide supervision and evaluation of wound care assessments conducted by nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
- Review and endorse patient care plans to ensure regulatory compliance and quality standards.
- Conduct telehealth consultations to advise on wound care strategies and treatments.
- Participate in case discussions and help develop best practices in wound management, including advanced therapies.
- Maintain clear communication with the care team regarding patient progress and necessary care adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Alabama state laws, and confidentiality requirements.
- Qualifications include active Alabama MD licensure, experience in geriatrics, primary care, or related fields preferred, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
