Experienced Nurse practicing independently in a similar clinical setting, providing routine and complex care while managing contingencies and delegating tasks.
- Demonstrates proficiency in nursing processes, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Addresses psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with their level of practice.
- Administers medications and treatments per protocol, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
- Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
- Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, families, and caregivers.
- Meets competency requirements, attends orientation, and completes annual validations.
- Preferred experience in perinatal settings with relevant certifications such as FHM, NRP, ACLS, and PALS.
- Holds a valid RN license and BLS certification; additional certifications obtained within designated grace periods.
