Job Summary:
Roberts Recruiting, LLC is a boutique recruiting firm specializing in the IT and Software Engineering market. They are seeking Front-end Engineers to work in a small team, contributing to product and engineering design while building user experiences for orchestration workflows.
Responsibilities:
• Own and participate in product and engineering design and decisions in a small, nimble team.
• Build on a modern open source stack using modern development practices - learn about new technologies such as Docker and incorporate them into a world-class product.
• Be visible - see and brag about your work, contribute back to the open source community, blog and give talks about the novel techniques you are using to solve real customer problems (e.g. you aren’t just building better ways to deliver ads for people).
• The joy of seeing a customer delighted by the features you deliver in a quick feedback loop, and know you are making a difference helping organizations defend against the serious problem of cyber attacks.
• You’ll work with security subject matter experts and UX to build the user experience for creating and interacting with the orchestration workflows.
• You should have a strong knowledge of Javascript frameworks, as you’ll be responsible for implementing the core Javascript, HTML, and CSS.
• There’s plenty of challenges and open space for you to execute on your ideas.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Strong knowledge of Javascript frameworks
• Experience with React JS (with JSX and ES6)
• Experience with SCSS
• Familiarity with Browserify
• Experience with Go
• Knowledge of RabbitMQ
• Experience with Postgres
• Familiarity with Linux
• Ability to participate in product and engineering design and decisions
• Experience with modern development practices
• Ability to contribute back to the open source community
• Ability to work with security subject matter experts and UX
• Experience implementing core Javascript, HTML, and CSS
• Ability to execute on ideas in a community-oriented environment
• Experience with JIRA for project management
• Familiarity with Git-flow like development workflow
• Experience with peer-reviewed development processes
