Job Summary:

As the Supplier Quality Engineering Manager, you will manage a global team ensuring high-quality manufacturing of hardware for OCI datacenters, collaborating with various stakeholders to meet customer demands and drive continuous improvement.


Responsibilities:

• Manage the people responsible for the development, readiness, and manufacturing performance of compute, storage, and networking hardware through the supply chain lifecycle at Oracle's manufacturing partners.

• Assign and monitor work of staff, providing technical support and direction.

• Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the team.

• Works collaboratively and builds reciprocal relationships with different parts of the business, partners and customers.

• Enhances Oracles competitive advantage by anticipating customer needs and applies best practices and creative solutions to drive efficiency and productivity within the team.

• Identifies and acts on opportunities for new or improved products, processes, or systems.

• Demonstrates leadership by motivating and inspiring others to align their actions with the larger organizational goals.

• Deals with complexity as shown by tactical decision making, and as demonstrated by the ability to make decisions willingly, even when facing uncertainty.

• Enables execution as measured by the ability to know the business and understands metrics/key performance indicators required by self and team to deliver results.


Qualifications:


Required:

• Manage a global team of Supplier Quality Engineers.

• Ensure manufacturing partners produce high quality compute, storage, and networking hardware.

• Lead external manufacturers to meet rapidly growing and changing demands.

• Navigate an ambiguous and fast-paced organization.

• Demonstrate both strategic and deep tactical engagement.

• Be a self-starter and communicate effectively.

• Challenge the status quo.

• Manage the development, readiness, and manufacturing performance of hardware.

• Conduct new site qualifications and surveillance audits.

• Monitor and report quality KPIs at all manufacturing sites.

• Drive corrective actions and continuous improvement of quality and capacity performance.
