Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
- Measure, mark, and cut building materials to precise specifications.
- Install, repair, and maintain both rough and finish carpentry structures.
- Safely and efficiently use hand and power tools.
- Inspect finished work for accuracy and quality.
- Transport materials between multiple job sites as needed.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, architects, and vendors.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Meet project schedules without compromising craftsmanship.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Proven 5+ years of experience as a carpenter or similar role in construction.
- Advanced knowledge of carpentry tools, techniques, and standard framing.
- Willingness to train and mentor others.
- Ability to supply your own carpentry tools.
- Ability to read and understand technical diagrams and blueprints.
- Physical ability to lift 75 lbs., stand, kneel, bend, climb ladders, and work hands-on.
- Professionalism, efficiency, and courtesy in all work settings.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance.
- Commitment to safety, compliance, and high standards of work.
- Strong time-management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Education and Training Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Additional professional training or certification in carpentry preferred.
