Director candidates for the Strategy Cardiovascular Services will have the following job responsibilities:
- The position is responsible for leading, developing and implementing a Cardiovascular Services strategic expense management program for a multi-facility integrated delivery network (IDN).
- This position is responsible for reviewing and optimizing the current GPO contract portfolio, product standardization plan, collaborating with the contracting team to lead strategic sourcing initiatives and contract negotiation as applicable.
- This position is responsible for building strategic alliances with key stakeholders as it related to successful cardiovascular service expense management program.

Director candidates for the Strategy Cardiovascular Services must meet the following minimum job qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree REQUIRED, graduate degree PREFERRED
- A minimum of seven years in a healthcare related role with experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Previous experience in supply chain, value analysis, purchased services and/or sourcing that includes cardiovascular service line knowledge and experience required.
- Demonstrated, successful project management experience with coordination and measurement of project deliverables.
- Advanced computer skills with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting REQUIRED
- Software skills with data warehouse and/or Micro Strategies highly preferred
