Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the on-site lead for VA hospital construction projects.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors and trades on site.
- Maintain and update the project schedule; report progress weekly.
- Conduct weekly site meetings with trades and stakeholders.
- Enforce quality control and safety procedures on the job site.
- Provide detailed daily reports using Procore and other platforms.
- Coordinate directly with VA representatives and project stakeholders.
- Monitor project costs and drive schedule efficiency.
- Oversee final inspections and punch list completion.
- Work occasional nights and weekends as needed based on project schedule.
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a construction superintendent.
- Associate's degree or equivalent field experience (3+ years).
- Must be able to pass a federal background check (required for VA hospital access).
- OSHA 30 certification (required).
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PDF).
- Experience with Procore or similar construction management software.
- Must demonstrate honesty, reliability, and a results-driven mindset.
