Job Summary:

Fluidra North America is seeking a Global Product Manager - Automation to enhance their product offerings in the pool and wellness markets. The role involves defining global product strategies, managing product portfolios, and driving innovation to meet business goals and customer needs.


Responsibilities:

• Define and own the Pool Automation global product strategy.

• Develop and maintain 3-year category roadmap & research pipeline, integrating input from key stakeholders.

• Drive portfolio performance management, tracking performance and identifying gaps/opportunities to optimize.

• Manage SKU rationalization

• Lead the development of key NPD inputs, including Basis-of-Interest (BOI), Business Plans & associated Financial Workbooks.

• In New Product Development phase, secure the balance between impactful value propositions (for users and customers) and measurable product performance objectives & User Experience guidelines for the engineering teams.

• Build and consistently develop a thorough understanding of the market (consumer, customer, channels, competition) through field visits, market research and interaction with regional teams

• Develop category consumer and Customer research priorities.

• Coordinate competitive research with Regional Product Marketing.

• Work closely with regional product marketing teams to ensure product development aligns with local market demands.

• Align strategy for the category within the broader context of all cleaning technologies

• Support global launch plans with regional product marketing.

• Support Engineering in defining and standardizing global product platforms.

• Align with supply chain and operations teams to optimize product cost structures, sourcing strategies, and inventory management.

• Engage with sales, finance, and operations to ensure commercial viability and operational readiness.

• Collect and co-define white space opportunities and ideation across Fluidra with the Engineering teams.

• Foster a customer-first and global mindset, ensuring product decisions are driven by regional customer needs and market relevance.

• Demonstrate collaborative leadership, fostering strong relationships across global and regional teams.

• Exhibit strategic problem-solving, balancing long-term vision with immediate priorities.

• Monitor KPIs and recommend corrective actions: margin, market shares, quality, customers & end users’ satisfaction… Be comfortable making decisions with incomplete information, triangulating a variety of sources

• Maintain a bias for execution, ensuring product initiatives move forward efficiently with clear accountability.


Qualifications:


Required:

• 8+ years’ product management, product marketing or application engineering experience with at least half in the residential embedded controls, IOT, or related industry.

• Experience with residential pools or spas is a plus.

• Strategic Marketing expertise: B2B2C preferred – ideally also an experience in B2C.

• Product portfolio strategy (brand/product/price/channel).

• Pipeline management from idea generation to country deployment.

• Strong analytical skills: data oriented for both business analysis and technical specs.

• Experience working in an international context, ideally driving international product strategy.

• Ability to understand the needs of different target audiences: installer and end user.

• Ability to think strategically across brands and channels, while diving into the details of product specifications.

• Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal are a must.

• Comfortable with technical products.

• Ability to frame value propositions: turn features into benefits and vice versa.

• Results driven -with an ability to balance short and long term.

• Ability to travel internationally 20%.

• Can deliver value and navigate well in a functional role within a matrix environment.

• Solid leadership especially in transversal mode - ability to listen, influence, lobby.

• Collaboration mindset: listening – debating constructively – deciding (when appropriate) – explaining and championing the decision.

• Self-directed and driven, with an ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with minimal direct supervision.

• Solid understanding of manufacturing and logistics associated with technical products and services.

• Proficient in Microsoft office, Oracle, and collaborative sharing tools.

• Looks for solutions and works constructively with others achieve results.


Preferred:

• Preferably, MBA and an undergraduate degree in a technology related field.

• Candidates with significant training and expertise in product management will also be considered.
