Job Summary:

They are seeking a Software Development Manager to lead a team responsible for designing, developing, and managing software applications and systems, while also overseeing software architecture and project planning.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

• Apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications.

• Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.

• May have direct reports.

• May telecommute.

• Software development lifecycle leadership, estimation and project planning;

• Technical cloud architecture and building cloud services and APIs;

• Building multitenant cloud systems in a multi-region environment;

• Building scalable and maintainable systems in Java;

• Cloud orchestration: end-to-end release pipelines with multi region deployments, and automatic validation processes;

• Database and SQL development and nosql systems such as dynamodb;

• Software Algorithms and Data Structures;

• Networking and Distributed Systems; Network infra such as virtual networks, subnet routing and internet/NAT gateways;

• Distributed workflows and lambda functions; and

• Metrics definition, collection and charting systems: Grafana.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field

• 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a software development-related occupation

• Software development lifecycle leadership, estimation and project planning

• Technical cloud architecture and building cloud services and APIs

• Building multitenant cloud systems in a multi-region environment

• Building scalable and maintainable systems in Java

• Cloud orchestration: end-to-end release pipelines with multi region deployments, and automatic validation processes

• Database and SQL development and nosql systems such as dynamodb

• Software Algorithms and Data Structures
