Job Overview

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support first-time build and product development activities in a high-tech aerospace environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with subsystem installations and digital manufacturing tools and will work cross-functionally to optimize production processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement manufacturing processes and layouts for assemblies and installations
• Drive adoption of automation, robotics, and CAM software for improved efficiency and quality
• Create and analyze 3D model data for digital work instructions
• Evaluate equipment performance using IoT and initiate corrective actions
• Apply statistical process control and data analytics for continuous improvement
• Collaborate with design teams to influence product specifications for manufacturability
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance (within last 5 years or Continuous Evaluation enrollment)
• Experience in manufacturing environments with cross-functional teams (IE, QA, Planning, Scheduling)
• Subsystem installation experience in one or more of the following:
• Hydraulics
• Electrical
• Power
• Fuel
• ECS
• Landing Gear
• Avionics
• Proficiency in Catia V5
• Familiarity with MRP systems, SAP, or MES applications
• Exposure to lean manufacturing and process improvement initiatives
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• First-time build or new product development experience
• Experience with fabrication, machining, bonded assemblies, and electrical installations
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
