Call Natals LLC is seeking a hands-on and experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead our high-performing residential service department. This full-time, on-site leadership role will oversee a team of skilled technicians, dispatchers, and support staff to ensure timely, efficient, and customer-focused service delivery. Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Management
    • Recruit, train, and mentor service technicians and support staff.
    • Conduct performance reviews, ride-alongs, and training to enhance team performance.
    • Manage on-call rotations, technician schedules, and daily workflows.
    • Foster a positive, accountable, and customer-centric department culture.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Monitor service operations for efficiency, quality, and safety.
    • Oversee dispatching and technician routing for optimal time and revenue utilization.
    • Enforce SOPs, code compliance, and manufacturer standards.
    • Track KPIs including first-time fix rates, conversion metrics, and customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Service & Sales Support
    • Resolve customer escalations with professionalism and urgency.
    • Support field upselling and the promotion of service agreements.
    • Maintain strong customer relationships to foster loyalty and referrals.
  • Financial & Strategic Management
    • Manage departmental budgets and ensure profitability.
    • Implement flat-rate pricing and job costing systems.
    • Report on key metrics and recommend strategic improvements.
    • Coordinate with sales and install teams for smooth service transitions.
  • Training & Development
    • Lead ongoing technical and customer service training.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
    • Provide expert support on advanced diagnostics and repairs.
Qualifications

  • Required:
    • 5+ years of residential HVAC service experience, including 2+ years in leadership.
    • Strong technical HVAC knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
    • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication abilities.
    • Familiarity with ServiceTitan or similar software.
    • Valid driver's license and EPA certification.
  • Preferred:
    • Experience in a multi-trade home service company (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
    • Knowledge of flat-rate pricing, performance-based compensation, and service agreements.
    • Industry certifications such as NATE or HVAC Excellence.
