The company focuses on producing high-quality materials with a low environmental impact. We’re seeking a proactive, reliable, and meticulous Interim Materials Consultant based in the United States. The Interim Materials Consultant is responsible for driving sales. They will support sales territories where Materials Consultants may be on extended leave for various reasons. The Interim Materials Consultant reports to the 3form Vice President of Sales and is responsible for maintaining momentum of the territory(ies), which is tracked in our CRM.
The Interim Materials Consultant will support designers, architects, contractors and general customers in their territory on a daily basis, while working very closely with the 3form Client Services designated to support quoting, technical service and ordering needs their customers require. This work with designers, architects, and end-users is a co-productive process that includes making design suggestions. The 3form culture is very collaborative and therefore the representative will be required to work closely with co-workers and in cross-functional teams.
The Interim Materials Consultant will need to have an expert knowledge of 3form’s products and services as well as an expert understanding of our clients workflows and needs.
An Interim Materials Consultant will follow up on all leads provided by the company as well as ongoing projects to ensure they turn into orders. This includes negotiating pricing. They will also need to have a basic understanding of excel as well as a deep knowledge of the company’s CRM system. They must possess excellent planning, organization, and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities
- Grow 3form sales within the territory
- Conduct virtual project meetings with customers
- Manage projects by working with cross-functional support teams
- Track meetings and project information in CRM
- Laptop, SmartPhone
- The company will reimburse all business related expenses within a pre-established budget
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Developing technical proficiency in 3form product
- Managing a high volume of communication using technology.
- You enjoy building relationships and creating a bond and rapport with clients.
- You have killer time management skills. Interim Materials Consultants enjoy a great sense of autonomy. To be successful, you must organize and balance your activities appropriately to drive results.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3-5 years of experience in outside sales with a proven track record
- Ability to read architectural drawings is preferred
- A business development mindset focused on aggressively growing sales
- Strong emotional intelligence with experience working in an entrepreneurial environment
- Successful track record in driving growth in revenue, number of projects
- Ability to manage projects and problem solve specifiers’ concerns and/or questions
- Authentic, energetic, effective communication
