Central Oklahoma Community Mental Health Center (COCMHC), Norman, OK is currently recruiting for a Recovery Support Specialist to join their mobile response team. This position performs a wide range of tasks to assist individuals of all ages in crisis in regaining control of their lives and recovery processes. This position requires that the applicant possess the skills to maintain a high level of professionalism, ethics, and interactions with all ODMHSAS staff and consumers. This position provides flexibility, including opportunities for non-standard hours that include generous shift differentials for non-standard hours.

Job Type/Salary
Drug and Alcohol Pre-employment and Pre-placement Testing: Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety sensitive positions shall be required to submit to urinalysis to test for drugs. Appointment to a safety sensitive position shall be contingent upon a negative drug test result.

- Saturday (double shift) 16 hours
- Sunday (double shift) 16 hours
- Monday (single shift) 8 hours
- In total: 40 hours in 3 days
- Salary:
- Senior Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist: $38,000.00 ($18.26/hr) plus benefits!
- Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist: $34,500.00 ($16.58/hr) plus benefits!
- Recovery Support Specialist: $30,000.00 ($14.42/hr) plus benefits.
- FLSA Status: Nonexempt
- Evening/Nights - extra $0.50/hr.
- Weekends – extra $0.75/hr.
- Holidays – extra $0.75/hr.
- On-call - $1.00/hr
- Senior Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist: This position requires that the application be currently certified as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist, high school diploma or GED, demonstrates personal knowledge in advocacy in recovery, and two years of PRSS experience.
- Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist: This position requires that the application be currently certified as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist, high school diploma or GED, and demonstrates personal knowledge in advocacy in recovery.
- Recovery Support Specialist: This position requires a high school diploma or GED, demonstrates personal knowledge or advocacy in recovery, and the ability to become a Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist.
