A Day In The Life

As a CDL Driver / Transport Driver with Monster Energy, you'll be the heartbeat of our distribution network, ensuring our legendary energy drinks reach fans with precision and flair. With your licensed vehicle expertise, you'll handle all delivery and maintenance aspects, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Your critical thinking abilities will guide you in selecting optimal routes and making essential decisions on the road. Committed to excellence, you'll ensure our products arrive on time, safely, and meet all customer specifications, embodying the Monster Energy spirit with every mile traveled.

The Impact You'll Make

  • Efficiently deliver product to company satellite locations, rotate and count inventory if necessary, process paperwork accurately, follow driver safety rules and provide professional customer service. Run routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times
  • Assist in the warehouse loading trucks, palletizing product, pulling orders, and other essential tasks in conjunction with delivery of product to clients. **This responsibility does not apply to employees working in the Rialto or Norwalk locations.**
  • Handle company equipment properly, follow written driver safety rules, and perform pre-trip inspection. Ensure routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes or tire rotations, are performed in a timely manner on the delivery vehicle(s).
  • Report accidents and injuries and any damage to equipment immediately. Exercise caution in treacherous circumstances and report unsafe vehicle or road conditions to supervisors and highway authorities
  • Inspect trailers before and after loading, paying attention to status of air lines and jack positions and adjusting them as necessary. Visit weigh stations before and after packing to ensure that loads meet state safety regulations, making alterations to loads when required by law

Who You Are

  • Completion of CDL truck driving school
  • Additional Experience Desired: Minimum 1 year of experience in route delivery experience
  • Additional Experience Desired: Minimum 1 year of experience in driving straight truck
  • Computer Skills Desired: Basic computer skills
  • Preferred Certifications: Valid Commercial Driver s License (CDL), Class A or Class B.
  • Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Clean driving record; must pass physical exam

Monster Energy provides a competitive total Compensation. This Position has a range of $28-$33/ hourly. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
