This position is Onsite. Our office is located at Lawrence General Hospital, 1 General St Lawrence, MA 01841.

This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:00am - 4:30pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.
We offer 6 weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of training will be aligned with your schedule.

Primary Responsibilities
- Assemble and process both inpatient and outpatient documents for scanning. Prepare, scan, and index each document, ensuring it is accurately placed in the correct patient chart and associated with the appropriate visit id and medical record number
- Collaborate with maternity unit staff to collect necessary information for creating birth certificates for each newborn delivered at the hospital
- Reviewing medical records for completeness
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED
- Must be 18 years of age OR older
- 1+ years of customer service experience
- Ability to work onsite at Lawrence General Hospital, 1 General St Lawrence, MA 01841
- Ability to work an 8-hour shift between normal business hours of 07:00AM - 04:30PM
- Experience working within the health care Industry and with health care insurance
- Experience working in a hospital, physician's office or medical clinic setting
- Clerical or administrative support background
- Experience with MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
