Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Utilize ERP system to receive work orders and verify correct items, quantity, quality, and documentation.
  • Issue material to work orders and route to work centers.
  • Pick/pull parts from inventory.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for mentoring Program Participants.
  • Perform cycle counts.
  • Generate Pull tickets.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and make necessary adjustments.
  • Review of obsolete and slow-moving inventory and provide recommendation for disposition.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Inventory control experience utilizing various packing, picking, and issuing.
  • Two years of relevant inventory control experience preferred.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Experience conducting cycle counts and reconciliation.

  • Frequent use of computer.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers to reach, manipulate, handle, and hold material.
  • Frequent use of vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and spatial relationship.
  • Frequent use of hearing ability to receive detailed information through oral communication.
  • Frequent use of speaking ability to express or exchange ideas, communicate detailed information, or convey instructions.
  • Frequent lifting, carrying, and pulling of 15 pounds. Maximum lift, carry or pull of 50 pounds. Objects that are heavier than 40 pounds require a team lift. Seek assistance if an object is heavy or awkward to lift, push or pull independently.
  • Consistent exposure to manufacturing shop floor, requiring use of Safety Glasses.
  • Consistent exposure to excess noise levels, occasionally necessitating the use of Hearing Protection.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
