We are seeking a Graphic Designer with expert-level skills in Adobe Creative Suite to create polished, brand-driven visuals, illustrations, and motion graphics that elevate the Ludus brand and visually communicate our software’s story. This role blends precision design, clean vector-based illustration, and the ability to adapt assets for both print and digital use, ensuring every piece reflects our distinct visual style.

What You Will Be Doing
Health Insurance (Medical, Vision, Dental) — Provided by Blue Cross Blue Shields and Guardian. Ludus covers 90% of the premium of our employees and 50% of all dependents.

What You Will Be Doing
- Graphic and Illustration Production – Create original, clean, skeuomorphic, vector-based illustrations and graphics in Illustrator that match our brand style. These should have depth, polish, and a tactile feel, using gradients, shadows, and highlights to bring features to life. Assets will be used across ads, landing pages, eGuides, social posts, email graphics, large-format conference displays, signage, and more.
- Layout and Typography – Design clear, balanced, multi-page layouts ensuring readability and hierarchy. From brochures to text-heavy eGuides, organize content in a way that supports brand tone and makes complex information visually digestible.
- Webflow and Digital Assets – Manage basic web updates, including image swaps and layout adjustments, and build new landing pages. Create digital ad graphics optimized for Meta, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
- Motion Graphics – Create polished, brand-aligned animations that clearly showcase our software’s user flows and features. Keep them focused and refined, more sophisticated than basic GIFs, but not full cartoon productions, enhancing product understanding while complementing our visual style.
- Brand Consistency – Apply brand guidelines thoughtfully across all deliverables, adapting for format while maintaining a unified identity in typography, color, and layout.
- Collaboration – Work in shared design libraries (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma), participate in reviews, and proactively suggest visual enhancements while keeping assets technically accurate and ready for deployment.
- Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign Photoshop) – Expert-level proficiency for vector illustration and multi-page layout.
- Vector Illustration – Ability to create original, stylized, brand-driven graphics. These are precise, brand-driven graphics, not organic, freehand artwork.
- Brand Consistency – Experience applying and maintaining brand identity across a variety of formats.
- Typography and Layout – Demonstrated ability to create clean, balanced designs with strong hierarchy and readability.
- Basic Webflow proficiency – Comfortable with image swaps, layout tweaks, and page building.
- Figma – Collaborative asset creation and review.
- Motion Graphics – After Effects, Premiere Pro, or similar, for product-focused animations that align with our brand style and enhance product understanding.
- Video Editing – Basic editing in Premiere Pro or Descript.
- Iconography Design – Creation of new icons or spot illustrations in brand style.
- Collaborative and proactive mindset: Eager to contribute ideas and open to feedback and iteration in a fast-paced, growing team.
- Effective Communication: Clearly articulates ideas and design rationale, and openly engages in dialogue with both technical and non-technical team members.
- Understanding of the performing arts community: Understanding the visual needs unique to performing arts-focused audiences.
