Description

The Product Manager plays a crucial role in the Product R+D team, responsible for driving the development and improvement of Conscious Discipline's product offerings. This position leads the end-to-end product lifecycle, from conception to launch, ensuring that products meet user needs while aligning with CD's mission and educational principles. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the Product Manager translates customer insights and market opportunities into actionable product strategies.

Your Primary Duties Will Include

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Define and validate new productized services such as:
  • External Certifications Programs
  • Learning Pathways for different roles (teachers, leaders, families)
  • Digital and hybrid delivery models for coaching and PD
  • Translate customer and internal insights into high-impact MVPs and scalable learning journeys
  • Align product vision to business goals and partner needs across K-12 and early childhood

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with the Content Manager and UX Designer to craft meaningful, high-fidelity learning experiences
  • Coordinate with the Platform Manager to align delivery with platform capabilities and release cycles
  • Work with Sales, Services, and Marketing to ensure products are positioned, launched, and supported effectively

Market Alignment

  • Measure and collect KPIs and use data and feedback to refine products
  • Support development of pricing, packaging, and bundling strategies for new offerings
  • Contribute to sales enablement tools and partner onboarding processes

Ongoing Product Management

  • Define and track success metrics (adoption, satisfaction, renewal, outcomes)
  • Maintain product documentation and internal alignment throughout development
  • Conduct competitor scans and market research to ensure differentiation and alignment

Requirements

  • Proven experience in product management, ideally within a context that includes a mix of service-oriented, physical, and digital products.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience establishing and growing a product management function.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
  • Deep understanding of product development processes, market research, and customer-centric design principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating teams and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in early childhood or K-12 education sectors, professional development, or related field.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, product design, education, product management, or a related field.
  • Evidence of formal certifications in product management

Your Experience

  • Experience with professional learning certifications, coaching frameworks, or implementation support products.
  • Familiarity with SaaS platforms, learning management systems, or digital content delivery.
  • Early Childhood or K-12 teaching or leadership experience.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Product Management, Business, or related field.
  • Formal certifications in product management or learning experience design.
