We are seeking a Pavement Management Project Manager to join our GIS & Asset Management team, and work alongside our skilled GIS professionals and civil engineers.
The Project Manager oversees the planning, coordinating, and execution of roadway assessments and inventory of other related assets such as traffic signs and line striping. The primary role includes managing pavement condition evaluations, preparing maintenance/budgetary plans, and closely collaborating with clients, internal teams, and partners to deliver projects on time and within budget.

We are seeking a Pavement Management Project Manager to join our GIS & Asset Management team, and work alongside our skilled GIS professionals and civil engineers.
The Project Manager oversees the planning, coordinating, and execution of roadway assessments and inventory of other related assets such as traffic signs and line striping. The primary role includes managing pavement condition evaluations, preparing maintenance/budgetary plans, and closely collaborating with clients, internal teams, and partners to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee pavement condition assessments, including data collection and analysis
- Track project progress and prepare detailed reports on pavement conditions and maintenance results
- Collaborate with clients to develop capital improvement plans and assist with public presentations
- Adhere to quality control procedures to ensure work meets project specifications and standards
- Supervise assigned Asset Management and GIS staff
- Coordinate with AI Vendors, monitor project milestones, and provide regular updates during internal meetings
- Partner with team members on project deliverables, including standard reports, GIS maps, and ESRI GIS deployments
- Work closely with the Pavement Management Division Leader on client management, business development initiatives and proposal development

Required Experience/Skills:
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- A solid understanding of technical applications, concepts, and principles related to pavement management and GIS
- Experience with the ESRI Suite and related field data collection tools
- Proven ability to develop comprehensive capital improvement plans
- Proficient in developing geodatabases and schemas, including domains and subtypes
- Must be able to collect field data and measurements including but not limited to roadway, sidewalk, and utility assets; and perform asset inspections
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrate strong technical aptitude and learning skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Must be able to lift/move objects weighing up to 40 pounds
- Must be able to perform field work in both hot and cold weather (rain and/or snow)
- Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Bachelor’s degree in planning, engineering, GIS, geography, or related field
- Experience working with municipal officials (ie Public Works Directors, Engineers)
