What You’ll Do
As an Apprentice – Body Technician, you’ll work side-by-side with experienced technicians to learn how to repair damaged vehicles to like-new condition. You’ll receive hands-on training in vehicle disassembly, structural repair, refinishing prep, and more.

Whether you have previous exposure to automotive repair or you’re brand new to the industry, we’re looking for enthusiastic learners who are ready to grow.

What You’ll Do
As an Apprentice – Body Technician, you’ll work side-by-side with experienced technicians to learn how to repair damaged vehicles to like-new condition. You’ll receive hands-on training in vehicle disassembly, structural repair, refinishing prep, and more.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Assisting with repairs on vehicles per estimate and company standards
- Preparing vehicles for repair and supporting the team with bodywork restoration
- Removing and installing outer and internal vehicle body parts using specialized tools
- Reporting any additional needed repairs or changes to estimated timelines
- Following all safety protocols and maintaining a clean, hazard-free work environment
- Learning and complying with local, state, and federal regulations
Whether you have previous exposure to automotive repair or you’re brand new to the industry, we’re looking for enthusiastic learners who are ready to grow.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1–3 years of hands-on or educational experience in collision repair (preferred but not required)
- Knowledge or interest in vehicle structures, parts replacement, and damage repair
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs regularly and 70+ lbs occasionally
- Comfortable climbing, kneeling, crouching, or crawling as needed
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to follow directions
- Safety-first mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Real-time mentorship from certified body technicians
- A clear path toward I-CAR training and future certification
