Vivacity Tech is looking for an Operations Associate to support the day-to-day execution of our operational processes. This role will focus on Warehouse however it will also be expected to provide exceptional service in all areas including production, repairs, inventory and warehouse functions. Operation Associates will play an integral part in ensuring a smooth and efficient process across multiple functions.

After your first eight weeks of training, you will execute Warehouse responsibilities in these various functions:

  • Checking and verifying customer orders before processing
  • Processing, packing and shipping orders according to purchase orders
  • Assisting with receiving and unloading incoming shipments
  • Identifying any damaged or missing materials and notifies supervisor
  • Loading and unloading delivery trucks
  • Keeping accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials
  • Conducting daily safety checks on equipment and processes to meet safety standards
  • Investigating and resolving any warehouse related issues
  • Maintaining knowledge of the processes and equipment used throughout the warehouse process
  • Ensuring cleanliness of work environment, and equipment are functioning and properly maintained
  • Presenting relevant updates, details, and data to designated lead
  • Upholding safety standards in respective work environments
  • Performing other duties as assigned

In Addition, You Will Be Fully Cross-trained In The Following Areas And Be Expected To Flex Into Those Areas As Business Dictates

  • Chromebook Diagnostics: Troubleshooting device issues using customer notes and a full diagnosis to identify source of error, assigning repair grade based on the problems
  • Chromebook repair: Completing computer repair process, cleaning, removing, and replacing parts using provided tools
  • Shipping and Receiving: Verifying that outgoing deliveries meet company quality standards
  • Inventory of parts and products
  • Production tasks: pre-wiring carts, white gloving, asset tagging, green boxing, and heat pressing
  • Tearing down assigned Chromebooks in a timely manner with regard to a high level of quality

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Thorough understanding of, or the ability to quickly learn, production, warehouse and repairs operations and machinery
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize competing priorities and delegate them when appropriate.
  • Expert technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and assist and train others
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment
  • Extremely proficient with Google Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience highly preferred

Additional Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer
  • Ability to operate job-related machinery
  • Ability to bend, sit, and lift up to 50 lbs
