Position Overview And Core Values

The Training & Development Manager/Specialist serves as a strategic leader responsible for designing, facilitating, and implementing learning content, policies, and development strategies across all levels of Vidalta Residential. This role ensures a consistent culture of growth and continuous improvement within the organization by enhancing team member productivity through comprehensive onboarding, proactively assessing company-wide development needs, and spearheading innovative training initiatives to cultivate top talent and drive overall business success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop innovative learning solutions, including soft skills training, product knowledge, implementation procedures, and operational best practices.
  • Coordinate the planning, development, and delivery of training programs for both corporate and on-site team members, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Bring fresh learning techniques to current and new team members to improve learning engagement and retention.
  • Collaborate with the onboarding team to integrate training components seamlessly into the onboarding process. Meet with all new hires to discuss career growth and learning delivery.
  • Works with internal, cross departmental teams to develop learning programs to support company growth plans.
  • Responsible for keeping training needs updated. Continuously improve compliance training programs. Constantly evaluate the training programs to ensure team members have a thorough knowledge of the procedures, programs, policies, as well as a complete understanding of their job responsibilities.
  • Deliver coaching and feedback to Property Managers, Assistant Property Managers, Leasing Managers, and Leasing Consultants on Secret Shopper calls.
  • Construct and communicate all training documentation, including training agenda, training reports with class attendance and training issues, training recaps, and other training communication. Responsible for maintaining the current training programs, and other materials for in-house training.
  • Partner with onsite team members to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives and technologies.
  • Maintain reasonable awareness of relevant laws and agency regulations, including but not limited to fair housing, sexual harassment, disability accommodations, and landlord tenant relationships as they apply to the policies and procedures of the company and the communities.
  • Compliance auditing/training of onsite personnel to ensure SOP are consistently executed. Provide tools and resources to the team to achieve results.
  • Other duties not listed above as directed by the President.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, human resources, or a related field(preferred)
  • Proficiency in delivering professional training sessions.
  • Exceptional instructional design and content development skills
  • Strong communication, coaching and online presentation abilities.
  • Demonstrate ability to multi-task and meet various deadlines.
  • Exceptional scheduling and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional Written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws
  • Experience with training best practices, skills assessment methodologies, processes, and training curriculum design desired.
  • Minimum five years of on-site multifamily management experience
