Description
The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) is a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for driving the company’s revenue growth strategy across all customer-facing departments. This role oversees Sales, Marketing, Client Success, and Business Development to ensure alignment and execution of a unified revenue strategy. A core focus of this role is to aggressively grow Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) through scalable, high-value service offerings in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) model.

This role oversees Sales, Marketing, Client Success, and Business Development to ensure alignment and execution of a unified revenue strategy. A core focus of this role is to aggressively grow Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) through scalable, high-value service offerings in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) model.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue strategy aligned with the company’s vision and goals.
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to shape long-term business strategy and growth initiatives.
- Foster cross-functional alignment between Sales, Marketing, Client Success, and Business Development.
- Lead and scale the sales organization to meet and exceed revenue targets, with a strong emphasis on MRR growth.
- Drive NRR growth strategically and oversee Professional Services projects to ensure profitability and aligned, opportunity-driven expansion.
- Design and implement sales strategies that prioritize recurring revenue streams and long-term client contracts.
- Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and channels for growth within the MSP space.
- Oversee brand positioning, demand generation, digital marketing, and content strategy.
- Ensure marketing efforts are data-driven and aligned with MRR-focused sales objectives.
- Drive go-to-market strategies for new managed services and subscription-based offerings.
- Champion a customer-centric culture focused on retention, satisfaction, and expansion of recurring revenue.
- Oversee onboarding, support, and client success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Implement customer feedback loops and success metrics (e.g., NPS, churn rate, LTV) to drive upsell and renewal opportunities.
- Establish KPIs and dashboards to monitor performance across all revenue functions, with a focus on MRR metrics.
- Leverage data and analytics to inform decision-making and optimize the revenue funnel.
- Drive forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue reporting with a recurring revenue lens.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Communications, or a related field strongly preferred.
- Candidates with a combination of relevant education and substantial executive-level experience in sales, marketing, revenue management, or business strategy will be fully considered.
- Strong understanding of managed services, subscription-based models, and B2B sales required.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
- Experience with CRM, marketing automation, and analytics platforms required.
