The City of Pearland, TX is seeking to hire a full-time Asset Reliability Manager to lead and improve aspects of the day-to-day operations of our Utilities department. Are you data-driven? The Asset Reliability Manager earns a competitive salary of $79,029.74-$100,762.92/based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, the city pays all premiums for our employees' dental, long-term disability protection, and life insurance plus the majority portion of the medical premium for employees and their dependents. A DAY IN LIFE AS AN ASSET RELIABILITY MANAGER

General Description

Plan, implement, and coordinate maintenance and Asset Management programs for all divisions of the Utility Department located in multiple facilities across the city.

Essential Functions

  • Maintain and apply knowledge of Reliability Maintenance and Asset Management processes.
  • Lead, Support, and Train staff assigned to the Utility Maintenance Division.
  • Recommend and implement process that will increase infrastructure reliability and sustainability.
  • Inspect facility assets to assess condition for comprehensive analytical data points used to assess likelihood/probability of failure.
  • Partner with Division Superintendents and other stakeholders to assess the consequence of infrastructure failure throughout the Department.
  • Develop and maintain Asset Management Process leveraging CMMS (City Works) to track trends on all critical assets in the Utility asset registry.
  • Develop and present an annual budget for Asset Reliability initiatives, tools, etc.
  • Create and lead Asset Reliability steering committees, when necessary, to promote continuous improvement.
  • Develop and present recurring reports on asset health metrics and participate in identifying end of life assets to be included in the Capital Improvement Process.

Minimum Education And Experience Requirements

  • Two-year college degree or trade school in Maintenance Management or Asset Management discipline, or equivalent work experience acquiring the skills and knowledge to perform duties of the position
  • Minimum two - four years of relatable experience
  • Five plus years leading an asset reliability process, preferred

Special License or Certifications

  • Valid Texas Driver's License
